Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day is the third Saturday in May.

FOW&J considers it a great honor to have participated in Armed Forces Day Events at Joint Base Lewis and McChord (formerly Fort Lewis) since 1996.

This event is a one day multi-period event held at Fort Lewis. FOW&J is one of many groups to participate in the event including a variety of historical periods as well as displays by current military forces. Given it is May in the Puget Sound area, the weather can vary from warm to cold, wet to dry, every year tends to be different. Our location at the event has changes.
